FIELD TRIP
Washington Oaks Gardens State Park

Meet us at the Deland Post Office parking lot NW corner at 8:30 AM to car pool to our destination. Washington Oaks offers aged live oak forest with hopefully lots of small birds on their way north for the summer. We will bird all day. Bring lunch, drinks, binoculars, and a camera! We will also likely have time to cross the road and see what shore birds can be found. The Cochina formations on the beach are always quite interesting to photograph and explore.
