This will likely be an easy hike of about 1 to 2 miles in soft sand to firm ground. This time of year is perfect to see these incredible birds getting ready for winter. Be sure to bring friends and a camera to take pictures of each other with our new found bird friends. We will be done before lunch which is available at the library's cafeteria. |

FIELD TRIP We will be meeting at the Post Office parking lot on EAST New York Avenue at 8:00 AM. Find us in the north-east corner near the gas station. We will be car pooling. Bring water and lunch. This is an automobile birding trip and includes very little walking. We will be gone all day. I will have been out there on the Wednesday and Friday before this trip so I should have a pretty good idea of what we can hope to see. There will be a lot of birds, that’s a given. Come and join us.
